Manufactured in 1918 by Colt under contract for the U.S. Army and subsequently arsenal refurbished. The left side of the slide is marked in two line, two block address, patent dates with the Rampant Colt in the center, with the obverse marked "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY". The right side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY/NO571801", with only an "Eagle Head/S15" inspection mark on the left side. It has the late features such as the checkered slide stop, thumb safety, magazine release and hammer spur with a smooth trigger and main spring housing. It is fitted with a blue barrel marked with a partial intertwined "HP" proof on top of the chamber area. It is currently fitted with a set of WWII brown plastic, checkered grips. It is complete with one half-tone magazine without a lanyard loop on the bottom.
