A) Ramp blade front and tangent rear sights, with the barrel marked "1739p" on the left side, "5279/ g" on the right, "243/ 1939" (Mauser, Berlin Borsigwalde, 1939) on the chamber, droop wing eagle and "eagle/ 26" proofs, and a smooth stock with brown leather sling, milled barrel bands, floor plate and trigger guard, and a flat buttplate. Lot includes an extra stripped gfk bolt, numbered 2750, and an Erma 22 caliber barrel, receiver and bolt, numbered 3615 (no other parts).

B) Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with "44 W" stamped on the rear of the barrel, "byf/ 44" on the receiver ring and "MOD. 98" on the left receiver wall. Bolt renumbered. Smooth pistol grip stock, with "WaA135" stamp on the right side of the buttstock, brown leather sling and a cupped buttplate.

A) Very good, with 90% of the original blue finish, with the balance showing the formation of a brown patina, bright high edge wear, scattered scratches and handling marks. Stock is very good, with some mild scratching and dents. Matching except the complete bolt assembly. Mechanically excellent.

B) Good as assembled, with 75% of the blue finish, showing areas of gray patina and scattered handling marks. Stock is good, with a thin crack in the right side of the buttstock, mild scuffs and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
