Top of barrel has caliber markings, with "JGA" over a symbol of an upheld sword superposed on a shield on the chamber, and "Buscher/Sportmodell/Nurnberg" behind the ejector port. Rifle features Blade and tangent sights and smooth pistol grip stock with a flat buttplate.

Condition: Fine as refinished. The rifle retains 80% of the blue finish, showing areas of brown patina and touch-up on the receiver, with spotting and handling marks overall. Stock is very good, with pressure dents, small chips and scratches. Mechanically good.

B) Manufactured by Mauser in 1938 under the "243" code, and later converted for 7.62mm NATO for use by the Israelis. The top of the receiver ring is stamped "7.62" over the Mauser 243 code maker marking along with a Star of David proof. Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with eagle/280 stamps are on the right side of the receiver ring and Hebrew symbols on the ring and breech. Milled components, with some mixed numbers. Smooth straight grip stock, with "7.62" branded into the toe and fitted with a cupped buttplate. Comes with a brown leather sling.

Condition: Very good as assembled and rechambered. The rifle retains 85% of the current parkerized finish, showing mild edge wear and light handling marks. Stock is good, with scratches and pressure dents. Mechanically excellent.
