The condition of this 407 page book is good with a Brodart plastic to protect the book., 16 pages of preface. Cover on spine is partially missing. Portrait frontispiece. In the original French language. This book relates to Trobriand’s command at Fort Stevenson; Lorence, Walter E. Captain, - originally by Hunt, Evid, Colonel History of Fort Leavenworth 1827-1937. The Command and General Staff School Press of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, 1937, 2nd Ed. The condition of this 301 page hardcover is good with wear on the spine and edges. Appendices A - Y. Illustrations, Bibliography, Index, 6 of 7 maps in pocket (missing map of the U. S. Reserve on East Bank Missouri River, 1837) The Post Chapel booklet is included and is signed by Blodgett, his signature is also in the book.

SHIPPING: After the purchase price has been paid in full and after the sale has been completed, property must be removed from the auction at the Buyer’s expense. The Auction Company will, as a service to Buyers, arrange to have the property packed, insured, and shipped at the request, expense and entire risk of the Buyer. Any claims will be between carrier and Buyer.
All shipping of merchandise purchases will be handled by The Shipping Center, Lewistown, MT. Phone: 406-538-7447. All shipping and insurance charges will be charged to your credit card. Insurance is required.
FIREARMS: All modern firearms (post 1898) will be sold in compliance with Federal and State Firearms Laws. A $25 transfer fee will be charged to the buyer for each Long Gun, which does not include shipping and insurance. The buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges. A $50 fee will be charged to the buyer for each Hand Gun, which includes shipping and insurance. All firearms will be shipped by a licensed FFL to a licensed FFL. 3. BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY: After a bidder has won the bid with his/her high bid, they have become the new owners of the item, even though they may not have paid for the item yet. The item becomes the full and sole responsibility of the Buyer at this point, and Buyer assumes all risk of loss and damage. The Auction Company or Seller is not responsible to provide any type of protection or insurance on the item(s).
4. INJURY AND DAMAGE: Bidder acknowledges responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by the Bidder or his Agent, and further agrees to hold Auctioneers harmless from any personal injury to himself or his Agents and any property damage incurred on auction premises.
5. BIDDING & PRE-BIDDING: United Country Shobe Auction & Realty is providing internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to bidders. Bidders acknowledge and understand that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction.
