Triple Signed Master Engraved Browning Olympian Grade Bolt Action Rifle
Manufactured in 1972. This rifle has a blue barrel manufactured without sights, a gold trigger, a polished bolt and the remaining surfaces French gray. The top of the receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The breech end of the barrel has a 2 inch floral scroll and punch dot engraved wedge on either side. The front receiver ring is engraved with a buck moose on the left side and bugling elk on the right side, with the remainder of the receiver featuring a scroll leaf and punch dot engraving. The hinged floor plate is engraved with a rearing bear in a woodland scene with floral scrollwork below and on the attaching metal. The trigger guard is engraved with a mountain lion. The left side of the receiver is signed "L. CORTIS", the floor plate is signed "L. LAMBERT" and the trigger guard is signed "LS". The stock is extra fancy select walnut with a high gloss finish, fine line checkering and floral and matte hand carving on the forearm and grip area. The stock has contrasting forend and grip cap, a raised comb, cheekpiece, a vented Browning recoil pad, and sling swivel studs. Complete with manual.
