B) Partial makers mark visible on the lock "Mre Ro w de / Chate ????lt", "M1840" marked barrel tang, "Cde 18", "G.C." and unreadable proofs on the left rear of the barrel, 1842 dated cartouche and proofmarks on the right side of the buttstock, "793" stamped on the left side, fixed sights, full varnished stock and iron ramrod with trumpet head.

C) Manufactured circa 1840s, the breech end of the barrel is marked with the Belgium perron mark, a "crown/N" , "LM" and "?" proofs, ahead of the hammer is marked with a "crown /AD" proof and the stock flat directly below the lock is stamped "D BERGER" twice. There is a faint cartouche on the right side of the buttstock and the "D BERGER" is repeated twice in the same area. Fixed sights, iron mountings, full stock and iron ramrod with trumpet head.
