Three German beer steins including a large 2 or 2.5 liter model with a pouring spout the only marks
Three German beer steins including a large 2 or 2.5 liter model with a pouring spout the only marks are Germany, 691, 8, on the bottom. There are three separate hunt scene characters with separate rabbit scenes below. There is a minor separation and split in the pewter lid. The second is a large 3 liter stein stamped Western Germany on the handle, and a mold mark 393 below, the group of men chanting "Alle Neune!" (All nine), kegel bowling is with nine pins this would explain why this was a bowling trophy at one point, painted on the rim is "The Brunswick-Balke Ruppert Trophy". There is an added white metal eagle at the top of the pewter lid. The third a 2 liter stein also has a sporting scene with a woman shooting a rifle above the saying "Bei Scherz und spiel trink nie zu viel" (In jest and play never drink too much). Mold mark of 8501 on the bottom. All in very good condition, size range is 15"H to 20.25"H.
