Attractive original rare red-and-white handbill for a Doors concert at the PNE Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 6, 1970, measuring 5.5 x 8.5, with images of the four band members and listing Albert King as the supporting act. In very fine condition. Five months before entering the studio to record L.A. Woman, The Doors played a memorable 16-song set at the Pacific Coliseum. According to keyboardist Ray Manzarek, the band were on 'a creative high,' which resulted in a number of lengthy improvisations—their rendition of 'Light My Fire' ran for nearly 18 minutes. Additionally, the Doors treated the audience to a legitimate blues showcase, with opener Albert King joining the band on stage for four songs—'Little Red Rooster,' 'Money,' 'Rock Me,' and 'Who Do You Love?' A recording of the concert by the band's tour manager Vince Treanor would later result in the two-disc record Live in Vancouver 1970.
