(MGM, 1965) (2) Pencil, pen & ink, and colored pencil on 29.5 x 41.5” architectural renderings for the key set (the poker suite) of the Steve McQueen gambling film The Cincinnati Kid, accompanied by (10) gelatin silver 8 x 10” set continuity stills of a pool room and cockfighting ring. All from the collection of art director Edward Carfagno, and with the renderings crediting director as Sam Peckinpah, who was replaced early on by Norman Jewison. This is considered to be the quintessential gambling film, and all the materials in this lot pertain to that specific subject. Excellent condition.
