Bookplate of Australian science fiction writer A. Bertram Chandler affixed to initial pastedown. Adjacent page shows light soiling and finger smudges where Sturgeon's inscription and signature appear: <I>"</B></I>For Jack Chandler, in many important ways, my shipmate. Theodore Sturgeon.<I>" </B></I>Dust jacket is worn and chipped, with moderate soiling to verso and a few tears at spine ends. Red paper wrappers with black cloth spine, silver lettering on spine. Boards are moderately worn with a few bumps to edges and corners, light soiling/sunning along upper edges. Spine ends show light to moderate wear. Textblock is fine save for small tears and creases at lower edge of initial flyleaf.
