Included in this lot is a T.C. Montgomery side by side percussion shotgun, chambered for 12 gauge. The T. C. Montgomery shotguns was a trade-line, made by J. C. Clabrough and Bros. of Birmingham, England, between 1871-1907. This shotgun utilizes 30" "Fine Demascus" barrel, paired with fine walnut fixtures. Additionally, the shotgun uses double percussion hammers, double trigger, and a break action. Additionally, the fore-grip, and straight stock show fine checkering, while the sideplates, and trim show intricate etching. The shotgun is marked on each sideplate simply with; "T.C. Montgomery", the fore-grip, barrel flats, and the stock also read "74011". Overall, the shotgun is in good aesthetic condition for age, though its absent of its right hammer. This shotgun qualifies as a Curio & Relic Long Gun, No FFL Required. Serial Number: 74011.
