Swiss Parlor Pistol, by Jean Siber, NVSN, 4mm, 3-1/2'' octagon barrel, European walnut stock with Schnauble forend, windage adjustable front sight, small gold bands inlaid at muzzle, blue finish. Mfg'd in the mid-1800s by Swiss maker Siber in Lausanne, Switzerland. Siber was from a family of watchmakers, and the shop still stands today. Center portion of barrel is open exposing nipple and striker, which is hand-cocked, and thin rod-shaped trigger lets off precisely making for what appears to be an extremely accurate salon pistol of watchmaker quality. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 92% lightly thinning blue. Finely grained stock with light scuffs and minor scratches. Est.: $800-$1,200. (Antique)
