Manufactured circa 1906 to 1916. Combination beach front, rear sight removed (no filler block), and Vernier tang peep sight. The two line Stevens Arms address is stamped upside down on the upper right flat with "25-R.F." stamped on the upper left flat. Casehardened action, lever and Swiss style buttplate with 56 stamped on the front face. Mounted with a nicely figure pistol grip stock with multi-point checkering on the forearm and pistol grip area. Barrel is numbered to the gun.

Condition: Very fine as partially refinished. The barrel retains 97% period refinished blue finish with some minor thinning with some minor scratches. The action, lever, and buttplate retain 95% original case colors. The wood is very fine with exception of a minor crack in the grip area, some minor dings and scratches, and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
