Much of his artistic influence came from doing part time jobs, including card lettering, sign painting, and commercial layout. Working in acrylics or pastels, he captures basic geometric forms of landscapes, inspired by memories and discovering new ways of looking at things. Horan's art has appeared in many national exhibitions and one-man shows, as well as galleries in New York, Chicago and cities around the country. * *
