(LucasFilm, 1977) A true piece of film history, this original Imperial BlasTech E-11 Stormtrooper Blaster is one of a limited number that were discovered decades after the release of the epic trilogy. It was buried deep in storage at the original armorer, Bapty & Co., who created most of the weapons for Star Wars: A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. As LucasFilm had a very small budget for the first film most of the weapons, including the blasters, were rented and returned to the armorers once the filming was completed. This blaster was purchased directly from that original find by the consignor and includes all of the original documents.

Based on a standard Sterling sub-machine gun, it has many non-standard alterations for the production of ANH described in detail in the original documentation. When discovered, all of the weapons sadly were missing their external components. The blasters were carefully restored to the way they looked on screen by adding replacements for the M38 scope, the scope rail, the barrel ribs, the cylinders, and the Hengstler counter box.
