Spectacular Unique Experimental Pre-WWI Steyr Semi-Automatic Carbine
This unique experimental Steyr carbine utilizes an action very similar to the Mauser G41(M) action and gas system. The only visible markings is "STEYR 1911" (highlighted in gold) on the left receiver wall. The barrel is equipped with a ramped blade front sight and two leaf (one folding, one stationary) rear sight. The safety is mounted on the trigger guard plate directly ahead of the trigger guard. The carbine is mounted with a one piece Mannlicher style checkered pistol grip stock with a horn grip cap, metal buttplate with compartment and sling swivel. The front sling swivel has been removed.

Condition: Excellent. The carbine retains 98% original blue finish with some minor muzzle wear and some light spotting on the barrel. The stock is excellent with exception of a couple of shallow gouges on the right side of the buttstock, otherwise there are a few scattered minor dings and pressure dents. The checkering remains sharp. Mechanically excellent.
