Smith and Wesson .455 MK. II Hand Ejector revolver, .455 caliber, Serial #1279. The pistol is in very good overall condition with a 6 ½” barrel. The pistol retains approximately 85-90% of its blue finish withhigh point edge wear, a loss of finish at the muzzle and on the cylinder. The pistol features a five screw frame with muted case coloring on the hammer and trigger. There are multiple Canadian proof marks on the pistolframe. The checkered wood medallion grips are in very good condition with small mars, compressions and a lanyard ring in the butt. The bore is good, the action is crisp and markings are sharp. The pistol includes aSmith and Wesson factory letter confirming all features indicating that the pistol was shipped to Remington Union Metallic Cartridge Company, New York City on December 17, 1914.
