This is a Smith & Wesson 4th Model double action revolver chambered in the .38 caliber. The revolver features a bright nickel finish with beautiful mother of pearl grips. The pistol is a break top with a five shot cylinder and 5" barrel. The barrel is marked "Smith & Wesson Springfield, Mass. U.S.A.". The Smith & Wesson revolver is in good overall condition. There is some play in the cylinder. The revolver measures 9.25" long. Serial number is 57729. This is an antique handgun manufactured before 1898 and requires no FFL transfer.
