<td width="100%">
It's a #2GB barn lantern with a red globe and came from an auction of rairoad lanterns but we suspect that it may have been used as a porch light signal to notify other railroad workers that a shady-lady's cabin was occupied already. We also know that C.T. Ham Co. manufactured these lanterns from 1887 'til 1914, and that this type lantern was sometimes used by the railroads but there are no apparent railroad markings on it. It appears to be serviceable. All parts are intact and it probably would still hold oil and work just fine. Doesn't appear to have any holes to leak and the wick is still there. C.T. Ham Company was located in Chicago and in New York.
