Sharps Model 1874 military rifle, .44 cal., 30” round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood stocks, adjustable target spirit level front sight, Lawrence ladder rear sight and adjustable vernier tang sight,#C53832. This gun is in overall very good condition showing traces of original muted blue in protected areas of the barrel and similarly traces of original case colors on the receiver and side plate with balance gone to silvery and brown toning; good bore, action, markings and wood stocks with a plaque inset under the butt stock with inscribed initials “J.L.F.”; accompanied by a copy of a factory letter dated June 20, 1974 confirming the caliber, barrel length, single trigger and both the vernier and wind gauge sights; gun was shipped on August 25, 1874 to Sheldon and Kellogg of Oakland, California; a very nice ’74 with factoryverified sights. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
