<td width="100%">
This stylish clock is a Seth Thomas Simsbury clock which was made ca. 1920. With its classic lines of simplicity, it is a wonderful example of the deco period. This clock is an 8-day quarter hour westminster chime with a 124 series chime movement and 3 winds. When westminster chimes, 5 hammers strike 5 rods...not just your usual 3! The wood case is just gorgeous. I believe the wood is Walnut. The case is the reason I listed it's condition as very good. There are two knicks (see photos) on the "3-o-clock" side. They are small and do not detract fromt he overall beauty of the clock. The interior was rebuilt in January 2005 and is in "perfect working order" per the appraisal on the clock. Appraises for $1500. Appraisal document will be included with your purchase. The depth dimension is measured from the front-most point of the curved glass face cover. The key comes with the clock. If you have any questions about this wonderful speciman, please don't hesitate to email me. More photos available upon request.
