The lot features an original authentic fully beaded bag from the Seneca Native American Indian tribe dating to circa 1830-1850. The bag shows an excellent beaded floral design done in original glass trade seed beads. The bag shows all hand stitching with minor bead loss as shown. Seneca Indian tribe beaded flat bags from the early to mid-19th Century are considered very scarce and desired. This bag is truly a wonderful museum quality original. The bag is in overall good condition for its age with signs of age and use as shown. The flat bag measures 4.5" x 5.25". Provenance: From a historic private museum collection in Paris, France.
