Scrooged Ghost Of Christmas Future Giant Skeleton Mechanical Hand
Scrooged Ghost Of Christmas Future Giant Skeleton Mechanical Hand - Scrooged Ghost Of Christmas Future Giant Skeleton Mechanical Hand - Ever since Charles Dickens first published 'A Christmas Carol" in 1843, this instant classic has had more stage, film, TV and animation versions created than almost any other work of fiction. Some of the most popular being the first American film adaptation in 1938, a grand all star MGM extravaganza, to perhaps the most beloved, the 1951 English version with Alastair Sim as Scrooge, to the hit 1970 film musical Scrooge with Albert Finney, to Richard Williams' masterpiece, the Academy Award-winning animated version (with Sim's revising his role), to Disney's version in 1983 with Scrooge McDuck! One of the most ambitious and elaborate was the brilliant modern-day version "Scrooged" in 1988, in which Bill Murray plays a selfish, heartless TV Executive (is there any other kind?), who is making his own TV version of "A Christmas Carol", all the while finding himself being visited by the Ghosts of Past, Present and Future. The film had the legendary Richard Donner as its director, which gave it an amazing look. In keeping with the duality of the actual classic Christmas Carol in the film-within-a-film, and the actual corresponding events befalling Murray, Donner chose to use a great deal of "on-set" special effects, rather than depending on CGI. For the sequence when the Ghost of Christmas Future arrives in Murray's office, an actual giant skeleton hand was crafted. This is that screen used ghost skeleton hand and arm. It includes the apparatus and controls to allow the hand and fingers to move. This massive amazing special effect prop is over six feet tall. Oversized item. Additional shipping charges required.
