Scarce Winchester Model 1894 Trapper Lever Action Carbine
Manufactured in 1919. Adjustable blade front sight and folding rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked with the two line nickel steel marking and "30 W.C.F." The upper tang is marked with the three line model information and a saddle ring staple with ring is mounted on the left side of the frame. It has a full tubular magazine, smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine style buttplate. The serial number is found on page 42 of Section III of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives 2007 revised list of "Firearms Curios or Relics List," listing this carbine as one of several carbines being removed from the NFA (National Firearms Act) and classified as a curio and relic.

Condition: Very fine with 95% of the blue finish remaining. The blue is beginning to thin along high edges, around the muzzle, near the breech end of the barrel, and there is minor wear and finish loss from the saddle ring on the left side of the receiver. The forearm has a few minor scratches in the varnish on the right side and the left has a 1 1/2 inch old scratch in the wood and two minor dings. The stock has been sanded and revarnished and has minor handling marks and scratches in the finish. The action is good.
