Manufactured in 1908, this carbine has a saddle ring and staple mounted on the left side of the receiver, post and blade front sight and adjustable folding leaf rear sight graduated to 200 yards. The left side of the barrel is marked with the two line address/patent date marking, "32 W.C.F." on the left at the breech and the serial number on the bottom of the frame. The upper tang is marked "MODEL 1892/-WINCHESTER-/TRADE MARK" and the Winchester oval proof mark is found on the top of the receiver ring and barrel at the breech. Mounted with a smooth walnut forearm secured by a single barrel band and straight grip stock with a crude desert mountain scene carved on the right side and a steel carbine buttplate. This Trapper carbine is accompanied by a letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms listing this carbine as being removed from the purview of the NFA, National Firearms Act and classified as a curio and relic.

Condition: Near Fine. The carbine retains 70% original thinning blue finish with areas of smooth plum patina and some bright edge wear. The wood has been decorated on right side of buttstock, revarnished and remains very good with few minor dents. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
