In-16° (101 x 75 mm, justification 70 x 50 mm) : 236 ff. chiffrés de i à ccxlvi (saut dans la numérotation des ff. de 149 à 160; qqs ff. lég. défraîchis, pet. déchirure marginale ff. 14-16). Rel. du 16e siècle : pleine basane brune, dos lisse, gardes de vélin et de papier (plat sup. détaché, rel. frottée, lég. rogné). Texte (20 lignes par page) : calendrier (ff. 1-12), psaumes, Litanie des Saints (ff. 233v- 237r), messe contre la peste (ff. 241-244), messe pour les naufragés (ff. 245-246).Enluminure et décoration : miniature à pleine page figurant le roi David et sa lyre (f. 13v, bordures lég. défraîchies comme le f. en regard); 11 grandes lettrines de 6 à 7 lignes dessinées à l'encre rouge et bleue avec large décoration marginale de feuilles d'acanthe, le tout rehaussé d'or à la feuille; petites lettrines décoratives dans le texte.Production : le style et la qualité des lettrines, la décoration marginale ainsi que le travail de la miniature permettent une attribution à un atelier de la Flandre française vers 1450-1475. Le calendrier comporte les noms des saints fêtés communément dans de nombreux dioscèses des Pays-Bas et des pays avoisinants. Seul le nom de Saint Julien, mentionné le 27 janvier, justifie d'y voir un rapport avec Reims.Rare exemple d'un manuscrit de ce type ayant conservé sa numérotation d'origine. 1.500 Euros

After full payment, buyers are kindly requested to take away their purchases immediately after the auction or at the bookshop the next Tuesday after the auction 230 av. Louise, from 2 pm until 6 pm.
Goods will be send only after customers’ payment.
Packing and dispatching are entirely at the buyer’s own expense.
Books whose price exceed 3.000 BEF will be send by registered post.

Payment will be made in Belgian Francs. We do not accept credit cards neither cheques whose total amount exceed 7.000 BEF or cheques not validated for higher sum.
Terms of sale require buyers to pay immediately for their purchases, which means that lots will be released to them only when full and cleared payment as been received by us
In addition to the hammer price, the buyer has to pay a buyer’s premium of 21%, V.A.T. inclusive, all strictly in cash and in Belgian francs (BEF).
In case of original art and if the principles of the author’s rights are applicable, an extra 4% must be paid on each hammer price of at least 50.000 BEF.
All items are assumed to be in good condition unless otherwise stated. Buyers are kindly invited to carry out their own inspection of the lots they want to buy. All items to be auctioned are on view for several days prior to the sale.
Returning an item after the striking of the hammer will not be accepted, whatever the reason put forward. Those items bought on order must be inspected within 8 days after receipt. Any return after this term will be refused.
All items of the catalogue with the mention « n.c. » (non collationné = not inspected) are not subject to return. Neither are those sold in lots (two items or more) works consisting in multiple volumes and periodicals or series.
If you cannot attend the auction, we can execute written bids on your behalf. To ensure a satisfactory service, it is necessary to make arrangements for the services at least one day before the sale.
On every purchase Belgian law only is applicable, and all cases of dispute are exclusively to the competence of the Brussels Chamber.
