Very fine. The barrel and magazine retain 90% slightly faded original blue finish thinning to a smooth gray patina with some minor pitting on the barrel. The receiver retains 95% plus original blue finish thinning to a smooth brown patina with some minor edge wear and a few patches of brown on the lower tang. The lever retains approximately 20% blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. The buttplate has a smooth dark patina with some minor spotting. Overall there are some minor scratches. The wood is fine with exception of some scattered minor dings, some minor scratches, and some scattered minor areas of varnish loss. The fine pistol grip checkering has some minor wear and bruises, with a few scattered minor bruises in the overall crisp forearm checkering. Mechanically excellent.
