This is a very nice example of a late-production "t" serial number block, "1939 dated Mauser military Luger pistol. This was a transition year for the Mauser factory in that it marked the change over from the old "S/42" Luger toggle markings to the standard "42" toggle markings. The top of the chamber area is dated "1939" with the "42" code markings on the top of the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension has the double "eagle/63" Waffenamt proofs next to the single spread winged Nazi eagle firing proof which also appears on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. Standard markings on the extractor and safety area. It is complete with one all blue unmarked folded steel magazine with the aluminum base. The base is marked "9933/t/Eagle 63". This series of Luger has the all salt blued finish with the checkered walnut grip.
