Piotti full sidelock double-barrel shotgun, 410ga, English style straight grip, select checkered burl walnut stock, single trigger, auto ejector, fully and finely engraved and signed by Galeazzi. Serial #7629. 28” barrels, choked Improved Cylinder (right) and Full (left). The left sideplate shows detailed engraving of landing ducks surrounded by intricate scroll. The light sideplate shows hunting dogs chasing rabbits. The bottom of frame shows dog retrieving game bird. The triggerguard is gold inlaid with raised “EA” for E. Acosta, whose name is on the lid of the box and purportedly was a factory representative. The barrels show 98-99% plus original blue. The gun has seen limited to almost no use, near excellen to near mint overall. The stock shows gold Piotti emblem on forend and finest quality and detailed throughout. The stock measures 14-1/4” to the end of the wood, 15-1/8” to the end of the hard-rubber English type recoil pad. In original Piotti luggage case. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
