Known as PAN or DANCING NYMPHS and produced, in custard glass, by the Phoenix Consolidated Glass Co during the 1920s-1930s. This famous, outstanding and rare vase depicts a mythological tableau of several beautiful Nymphs seductively dancing around the vase, with only their scarves, being entertained by the heavenly flute or panpipe music of Pan, the Greek God. Beautiful soft flesh tones - light brown, and pastel blue coloration and superb detail. Measuring 12 inches tall and with the exception of one small, chip below the rim [see photo] is in excellent condition.
