Pair of single action style of 1859, 11 mm pinfire revolvers engraved with deep etched makers signature Lefaucheux A’ Paris on barrels showing ebonized hardwood grips and French cased with accessories, serial numbers 8530 and 8531. Theleft side of the frame shows the maker stamp and the right side shows serial numbers. The pair are nicely scroll engraved with a gray/blue patina finish with some traces of original blue mixed in. The condition is very good plus overall withtight actions and very good interiors. It is interesting to note that the finest engraving is located on the back of the recoil shields where they are most ornate. The pair are French style cased and lined in a brushed felt which is in very good condition showing some thinning and minor aging. A full complement of accessories are in their proper positions and there is a working key in one compartment. Two original compartment covers are retained. The exterior of the case isveneered Rosewood and remains in very good plus condition with some minor aging at the corners and slight scratches.
