Original oil painting on canvas of flushing pheasant by Richard Bishop, approx. 24”h by 27” (artwork), nicely framed, nice condition. A dramatic and colorful piece with an interesting foreground. A well noted wildlife artist, his works are now exhibited in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. He is also the author of Bishop’s Birds, published in 1936.
