Oddity pin-fire ring pistol marked Quatre Morts on cast silver or German silver ring portion which means 4 deaths. The pin fire is approximately 3 mm and shows fine quality workmanship and fire blue parts and the ringpistol is nicely cased in a French fitted case with provisions for a screwdriver and cartridges of which one casing is retained. The case is made of rosewood and a plaque in the lid is inscribed in block letters “Lepetit protector II”. The ring measures 1 ¾” and is approximately a size 11 to 12. These were made as an oddity in the 20th century and not a firearm in the miniature category. Est.: $3,000-$6,000.
