Today it is part of Union Pacific Railroad branch connecting the Feather River mainline with Reno. Incorp. June 5, 1880 with headquarters in Reno. Sold to group of New York investors at foreclosure in 1884. Operated unofficially as Nevada and California Railroad. Sold in 1893, reorganized as the Nevada–California–Oregon Railway.
