Navajo Weaving. 5'8" x 3'8". A soft, antique, woman's shawl/serape. Woven from silky, soft Spanish Churro long, staple wool and three-ply early Germantown and three-ply cochineal dyed Saxony or Germantown yarns. The blue stripes are all natural indigo dyed wool. All indigo blue selvage cords are original with no restoration. Circa 1870.
