This is an early Old Pawn Silver bear claw sterling silver with turquoise and belt buckle from the Navajo Native American Indians. The piece shows some of the finest craftsmanship of any early Old Pawn Silver buckle offered for sale and is truly and early 1900 to 1940’s piece. The buckle is made from solid sterling silver with a large Sleeping Beauty Turquoise nugget set in the center. Just above the turquoise are two silver capped black bear claws. The buckle also features hand tooled feather and flower accents with a decorative twisted rope border. The Navajo belt buckle is in good condition. It measures 2.5" x 4.25".
