Chamber dated 1938 and toggle marked "S/42", with "eagle 63" and "droop wing eagle" proofs on right side of barrel extension and on the barrel, with the firing proof repeated on the breechblock. Safety position and extractor marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. Matching full or partial numbers on the pistol. Checkered walnut grips and non-matching blue magazine with aluminum base (8452m). Complete with a Auwerter & Bubeck holster dated "1936" with an "eagle/WaA" proof on the back. The inside of the flap has a handwritten marking ("FRANK / ENGELSIEPEN / 6908355 / [illegible]".
BBL: 4 inch round
Gauge: 9 mm
Serial Number: 3254k
Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 90% plus original blue finish with the grip straps thinning to a brown and the barrel thinning to a gray with loss at the muzzle and some minor edge wear. The right panel is worn at the bottom, otherwise the grips are fine with some minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fair with flex wear, some minor handling marks and broken pull strap. Magazine pouch has some speckling and a minor hole. The stitching is tight.
