"MM Beginn 29, August 1937 Leipziger Herbstmesse" Sticker; 1880 dated Check "Merchants' Savings Loan & Trust Co." drawn by McCormick Harvesting Machine Co.; 1900 Check on "Hanover State Bank Hanover, Kans….Pay to the order of Keystone Mfg. Co." This check is signed by the infamous August Jaedicke, Jr., whom was the Cashier of the bank. His was one of the grandest Houses in Hanover, Kansas, but his tombstone was one of the smallest. The reason being, he was charged with embezzling as much as $600,000 from the bank and after he was caught hiding out in Louisiana, he was extradited back to Kansas where he sentenced to three consecutive 15 year terms in the Kansas State Prison; along with this interesting historical items, we have included a 1922 S U.S. Peace Silver Dollar, Fine, we don't want a man to go away without a Silver Dollar in his pocket.
