Each lithograph is inscribed in the Plate "Mourlot Lith and Manaranche Grav".
It was printed in a limited edition of 300 impressions by Andre Sauret for Mourlot Freres, Paris, in France in January 1966.
It was published by Boston Book and Art Shop, Boston Massachussets, USA.
The portfolio contains twelve colour lithographs, and a preface written by Pierre Mazars.

Mane Katz started a series of gouaches in 1958 in Geneva to illustrate the story Stempeniou. He completed them all in New-York later on and asked the famous printer Fernand Mourlot help for printing a limited edition of a portolio of original prints all based on the gouaches he made.
Mane Katz started designing the 12 plates in 1960 but died before completing them, leaving this project to his friend Alexis Manaranche who completed it in 1966.
