Clip point blade, 13 1/8" long, with an unsharpened clip. Oval steel crossguard, 3 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide, with a steel collar and wooden handle carved "WALT HALL" on the right side. Leather sheath, with pressed designs on right side and belt loop on left. Back of sheath is impressed "W T HALL". Includes National Archives research listing the knife as having belonged to Walter T. Hall who was in the 35th Brows Cavalry, Texas. The knife appears to be arsenal made. OAL: 19 5/8".

Condition: Very good with scattered areas of pitting on blade and some minor spotting. Portions of blade have darkened with age. Handle is fine with some bruising and light wear overall. Sheath is fine with moderate cracking and some scuffed areas.
