Ink and watercolor on paper, hanging scroll featuring crabs and Chinese cabbages, signed and attributed to Li Kuchan (1899-1983, Chinese), inscribed with one artist seal, good condition, a few horizontal and vertical creases90 x 53 cm, Li Kuchan was Chinese painter known for combining Western techniques with traditional Chinese styles. A specialist in bird-and-flower paintings, Li executed his works using a spontaneous brushwork and simplified forms.
