Kit Carson's Pictorial Beaded Pouch. 4 ¾" x 2 ¼" leather bullet pouch with beaded Masonic imagery. Cobalt, clear, white-heart red, rose & pumpkin beads make up the moon & star design. Four lead bullets inside. Circa 1860. (est. $1,000-2,000). Provenance: "Kit" Carson (1809-1868), by descent to his son "Kit" Carson II (1858-1929), by sale to Ralph Meyers (1885-1948), by descent to his wife Rowena Meyers Martinez (1909-2000), by descent to her son Ouray Meyers (b. 1941).
