Printed act, ten pages, 6.25 x 10, entitled "An Act for Exposing to Sale divers Castles, Houses, Parks, Lands and Hereditaments, Belonging to the late King, Queen or Prince," enacted on December 31, 1652, printed in London by John Field, printer to the Parliament of England. The act authorizes the sale of real estate in order to fund the Navy. In very good condition, with creasing, light staining, and a few repaired tears. This booklet was printed just a few years after the beheading of King Charles I, at the climax of the English Civil War, during the period of Oliver Cromwell's rise to power over England, Scotland, and Ireland.
