His best-known roles are Mork's son Mearth on "Mork and Mindy," Lennie Pike in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World," Maudie Frickert, a character he created himself, of a sweet old lady with an attitude. Robin Williams refers to Winters as his idol. Drawing and painting has continued to be a part of Jonathan Winters' life throughout his career. His art is abstract, and it resembles the work of Kandinsky and Paul Klee.
