Rare wet plate, albumen 2.5 x 4 carte-de-visite photo, signed in the bottom border in ink, “J.J. Astor, Col. & A.D.C.” Bust view in uniform with rank of colonel. Brady, Washington imprint on the front mount. In fine condition, with scattered light toning and spotting.
