Original signed and inscribed ink sketch of Wyeth’s beloved dog Boom-Boom on an off-white 10.25 x 7 sheet of Eastern Airlines stationery, inscribed at the top, and signed underneath the image, “Jamie & Boom-Boom Wyeth.” Sketch is affixed by two pins at the top to a mount and framed to an overall size of 15.5 x 12. Consignor notes sketch was done for a stewardess during a 1976 flight. In fine condition, with a few light creases. Unlike Wyeth's ‘Pig’ sketches which are comparatively common, this drawing of the artist's dog from the mid-1970's is almost certainly one-of-a-kind.
