But the gods of their ancestors have different plans! From the Silver Age of Marvel monster comics, prodigious talents Stan Lee and Kirby once again plow through another super-colossal story. Jack Kirby brings us these five laudable pages (which comprise most, but not all, of the story), and they are certainly memorable. The splash page alone is an almost pop-art looking image of the ill-fated Commies in the grip of something beyond their wildest imagination. The overall page size is 14" x 21" with a 12.5" x 18.5" image area. The art is clean and bright, and with the exception of some slight staining on page 1, and some staining at the bottom of page 2 and 3, the art is incredibly well-kept. All pages signed by Jack Kirby. <B>Estimate: $4,000-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
