INDO-GREEK: Diodotus, ca. 250-230 BC, AV stater (8.20g), [Balkh region], Bop-1, in the name of Antiochus II, king's portrait right, one testcut at the top / Zeus naked, bolding aegis & brandishing the thunderbolt, eagle to his left, Extremely Fine, RR. The monogram resembles the letter N, somewhat like the monogram on the tetradrachm (Bop-2C or 2H), but not known on gold before Bopearachchi's publication. Struck during the period of Syrian influence at Balkh.
