Profiles in History presents our Fall 2009 Hollywood memorabilia auction featuring over 1,100 lots of entertainment's most iconic props, costumes, posters, photography, scripts and original artwork. Spanning all genres of entertainment from vintage silent films to classic Academy Award winners, from horror and Sci-Fi to contemporary blockbusters and popular music, there is virtually something for every collector. Highlighting the auction will be a 17-foot tall full-scale Bumblebee robot from “Transformers,” Michael Jackson’s illuminating glove from the 1984 Victory Tour, and Amelia Earhart’s goggles worn during her history-making flight, to go along with a plethora of exciting offerings from Academy Award-winning special and visual effects creators, Stan Winston and Richard Edlund. The sheer volume of amazing Hollywood artifacts needs to be witnessed to be believed. Any description will fail to do it justice.

Just a tiny fraction of what’s on the block: an extremely rare "Dracula" one-sheet poster; Louise Brooks portrait from "Pandora's Box"; Walt Disney autographed sketch of Mickey Mouse; collection of 100+ puppets from George Pal's "Jasper" puppetoons films; the very first Apple Macintosh Plus computer given to Gene Roddenberry by Apple Computers; Michael Keaton hero Batman costume from "Batman Returns"; 85 lots from Academy Award-winning special effects creator Stan Winston that includes a screen-used T-800 complete costume from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," T-Rex maquette from "Jurassic Park," set of ten storyboard art from Michael Jackson's "Ghosts," and much more; 52 lots featuring work from Academy Award-winning visual effects creator Richard Edlund that includes an original screen-used sectional piece of the Death Star from “Star War,” a large-scale model of front section of Discovery ship from “2010,” collection of puppets from “Big Trouble in Little China”; and much, much more.
