Manufactured in 1925, the second year of production. The rifle has the standard barrel and three line upper tang marking with the serial number on the bottom of the frame. The Winchester oval proof is marked on top of the receiver and barrel at the breech. The bottom of the receiver just to the left of the lever is stamped with the number "41". Ramped folding globe front sight and adjustable semi- buckhorn rear sight. Mounted with a smooth forearm with a steel end cap and straight grip stock with a serrated steel buttplate. Complete with the original box numbered to the gun.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 95% plus original blue finish with some minor muzzle wear, flaking and edge wear on the receiver and a mix of smooth brown and original blue finish on the lever. There are a few very small areas of minor pitting on the receiver. The wood is also excellent with some overall scattered minor dings and scratches. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent. The box is very fine with some storage wear and the label is intact.
